ODC 2023 Special Issue

Journal of Communication Disorders (JCD) Call for Papers

 13th Oxford Dysfluency Conference (ODC)/JCD Special Issue Opportunity

 All presenters at the 2023 ODC are eligible to submit their work for consideration of publication in a Special Issue of Journal of Communication Disorders (JCD), which publishes original articles on topics related to disorders of speech, language, and hearing. Authors are encouraged to submit reports of experimental or descriptive investigations (research articles), review articles, tutorials or discussion papers, and/or letters to the editor (i.e., short communications). Case studies are not accepted unless they conform to the principles of single-subject experimental design.

 Works submitted for the ODC Special Issue will be peer reviewed and must meet the standards for publication in JCD. Consult https://www.sciencedirect.com/journal/journal-of-communication-disorders  for the guide for authors.

• Guest Editors:  Drs. Julie Anderson, Elaina Kefalianos, and Ellen Kelly
• Publication Date: Autumn 2024

 Timeline:

• Submission portal opens: 23 September 2023
• Letter of intent to submit due: 23 October 2023

Letters of intent should include the following information:

• Draft title and abstract (so that reviewers can be identified)
• Names of all authors on manuscript
• The number and title from the ODC programme upon which your manuscript is based

• Manuscript submissions due: 23 January 2024
• Editorial decision to authors: 23 June 2024
