City Lit in central London is home to the UK specialist centre for work with adults who stutter and offers a learning-based, non-medical model approach steeped in the wisdom of Charles Van Riper and Joseph Sheehan, adapted for the 21st century through the influences of mindfulness and acceptance and commitment therapy.
